Building Belonging Through Culture, Reading, and Community

Advancing public welfare and cultural understanding in a multicultural Australia.

About Us

HAR Cultural Foundation Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation committed to advancing public welfare and culture in Australia. We support newly arrived migrants and their families by strengthening social inclusion, community participation, and family wellbeing. At the same time, we foster cultural expression and intercultural understanding, helping communities appreciate and preserve Chinese cultural heritage within a harmonious multicultural society.

Our programs create practical pathways for belonging—through reading, education, community gatherings, and collaborative initiatives that connect people across generations and cultures. We exist to serve the public good, working alongside local partners and community members to build stronger, more connected communities.

The Foundation seeks to relieve disadvantage experienced by newly arrived migrants and their families, support vulnerable individuals—including youth and older people—and strengthen social inclusion, community participation, and family wellbeing.

At the same time, it fosters cultural expression, promotes intercultural understanding, supports the preservation of Chinese cultural heritage within Australia, and contributes to a harmonious and inclusive multicultural society.
