HAR Foundation

Established on 17 December 2025, HAR Cultural Foundation Ltd was founded in response to the diverse cultural and social needs of communities in Australia. Our vision is to create spaces where people can find connection, belonging, and companionship through reading, culture, and community.

The Foundation supports migrant communities, particularly newly arrived individuals and families who may experience social isolation or challenges in settling into a new community. Through cultural, educational, and community programs, we seek to build inclusive spaces where people can connect with others, participate in community life, and develop a stronger sense of belonging.

At the heart of our work is a commitment to fostering intercultural understanding and encouraging meaningful exchange between people of different cultural backgrounds. We also support the appreciation and preservation of Chinese cultural heritage in Australia, while creating opportunities for Chinese culture to engage with the wider Australian community.

Our programs and activities are open to a broad range of community members, including migrants and their families, young people, older adults, cross-cultural families, second-generation Australians, and anyone interested in reading, culture, education, and community participation.

Through these initiatives, HAR Cultural Foundation seeks to contribute to a more connected, inclusive, and culturally enriched Australian society—one in which people from different backgrounds can meet, learn from one another, and find a sense of belonging.
