HAR Cultural Foundation Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation advancing public welfare and culture by supporting migrant communities, strengthening inclusion, and fostering intercultural understanding through reading, education, and community programs.
HAR Foundation
HAR Cultural Foundation Ltd was established on 17 December 2025 in response to the needs of Melbourne’s diverse communities. Founded with a vision of supporting people through reading, culture, and companionship, the Foundation seeks to assist newly arrived migrant families and individuals experiencing vulnerability as they navigate settlement and community life.
At the same time, it works to foster intercultural understanding and support the preservation of Chinese cultural heritage within Australia.
The Foundation primarily serves newly arrived migrants and their families—particularly those in need of social support—as well as vulnerable individuals such as young people and older adults.
Its work also engages community members who value culture and reading-based education, including cross-cultural families, second-generation youth, Chinese and other local communities, and members of the public who wish to participate in inclusive community, cultural, and public activities.
